Starting Tuesday 14 March, we kick off with the first session of our new moms2tri southern suburbs group training. Our program is designed to get our full time moms into multisport at a more do-able hour of the day, that is the morning, after the school run.
We will swim at the Pinelands High School pool at 9-10am on Tuesday, run on a Wednesday 9-10am from Constantia Virgin Active, and ride on Thursday 9am-10am from Constantia Virgin Active. We are aiming towards the MiWay Ultra Triathlon, its a sprint distance tri, 500m swim/20km bike/5km run, and the race is on the 24th September. That’s our moms goal!
No level of fitness is expected quite yet, but the program caters for all levels, so super fit moms will be challenged too. We will all learn together as a group and progress, gain confidence, lose weight and feel great together. If you interested in starting, our best advice is to start NOW, while everyone is beginning to learn multisport and starting out. Don’t leave it for 3 more weeks, rather start now.
