Beet It… At track!

Tonight the Embark athletes got a taste of Beet It! Its an endurance boosting shot, extracted from Beetroot, which is
reported to boost oxygen usage efficiency, with a positive impact on performance and stamina. Did it work?? Well i heard less complaining than usual!

We started our 5th Block of training this week, so we have 3 hard weeks to get through until Jail Break, our final race pre 70.3. Energies are still high with the athletes as we attack this first week. We are now doing a lot more swimming in the sea to get used to potentially rough sea conditions in ELS.
