Rest Week for triathletes

This in now our 4th week in our base transition phase, and our recovery week. Although we normally do our time trials in recovery week, this week we are racing a sprint distance triathlon instead. The rest of the week will be rest, eat, relax and chill out. A very important time for the body to recover, it is after all the time spent recovering that we get stronger, not during the training. So to miss out on the recovery is non productive and deconstructive. We move into the next phase of training next week, this being the Race Preparation Phase. Enjoy the easy week and good luck on Sunday for the BSG Energade Triathlon.
