Friday morning Tri Boot Camp

It rained all night, and rained from 7am onwards on Friday morning! But from 6am to 7am we had clear skies and a cool ocean breeze along the Atlantic seaboard. This was the start of  the Emabrk Tri specific boot camp. Its a once a week upper and lower body work out, and includes roughly 5kms of running too. We worked all the specific swimming/cyling/running muscles. Its very important at this stage of the base training to get stronger, the stronger the muscles are, the less likely you are to injure yourself as the endurance work load increases. More than 30 of the current athletes lunged, jumped, planked, skipped and more, and this was way before half of Sea Piont had even woken up! Next session, two and a half hour ride on Sunday morning, see you all there, weather looks good.

    Stevie wonder….i take care of the camera on friday. i think thats a good idea:)
